For our multinational IT client, one of the leader in the industry we seek
Sr. Solaris Engineer
(Sr. Solaris szakértő)
based in Budapest, to be a member of a growing team.
Tasks and activities include:
Act as a primarily expert in Solaris with proven experience of enterprise level hardware and familiarity of defining, testing and packaging operating system builds used in production environment
Defining, testing and packaging the Operating System
Design and build Solaris based systems based on client requirements
Produce a standard comprehensive set of documentation to assist in project deployment, and to include training and implementation support
Skills and Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Solaris systems (versions 8, 9, and 10) in administration, support and OS system level engineering
Certification of SCSA (preferred), SCNA (desirable)
Good Solaris troubleshooting, Investigation, Performance Tuning, Configuration skills
Experience on Jumpstart and Sun Security toolkit (sst)
Experience on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NFS configuration
Experience on Sun and / or Veritas Volume Manager skills
Knowledge of Solaris 10 virtual server (zones) & resource management skills (containers)
Good knowledge of shell scripting (korn shell or equivalent)
Knowledge of clustering, SAN, Software/Hardware RAID setup and configuration in Solaris environment, EMC storage and configuration software like Power Path
Excellent English
